Band in a Box Tips:
generating .wav files
You should notice a WAV button on the toolbar in BiaB. You just hit that and it renders the progression as a
.wav file.
You have to wait for the song to play (as many choruses as you've specified).
*It's a good idea to turn off email and instant messaging clients (e.g. MSN) as the alerts they generate will give you a nasty 'bleep' on your recording as you render the .wav file.
You also need to make sure 'stereo mix' is ticked on the Windows recording control, but there's even a button in the BiaB export wav dialog box which opens the record control and allows you to check levels.
The exported file must be written to the same directory as the BiaB file you're using (you can move it later of course). Once you have rendered the .wav file you can open it in in an audio editing program like Audacity and overdub more tracks, either by recording or copy/pasting from other files.
